A STORY FROM OUR AGENCY:
At the Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, we envision a future where all Nebraskans are safe and thriving. Through prevention, advocacy, and survivor support, we work to stop violence before it starts and ensure those affected have the resources they need to heal. However, we cannot do it alone—your support makes it possible.
In 2024, donors like you helped us:
• Train 460 staff and issue 370 course certificates to improve survivor services.
• Provide testimony on 15 legislative bills and rewrite four to strengthen protections for survivors.
• Manage over 150 legal cases and train court personnel to support survivors.
• Distribute 2,500 menstrual hygiene products and 73 doses of emergency contraception to survivors statewide.
• Support 10+ survivors in testifying during the 2024 legislative session.
• Assist two organizations in developing peer-mentoring projects to uplift survivor leadership.
• Lead statewide working groups on human trafficking and violence prevention.
• Support four Project Connect events, serving 1,584 low-income individuals.
Half of every Give Nebraska donation goes into our Infusion Fund, which provides financial aid to survivors to help with housing stability, transportation, legal fees, utilities, groceries, or childcare. During our last funding cycle, we provided direct aid to 79 survivors in 10 communities across the state. With your support, we can help even more survivors regain stability and rebuild their lives.
